After a few wonderful holidays in beautiful Kardamili we finally decided to take the jump and get married here. Luckily we found Julie who was there every step of the way, advising us on the paperwork, venues, food, entertainment and everything else that was needed. Listening to our ideas and wishes, she really made a lot of effort to realise what we had in mind. With Nina being Dutch and living in Scotland, it was slightly more complicated to get all the required paperwork, but Julie went the extra mile and double-checked absolutely everything with the Town Hall officials to make sure it was alright. It really put our minds at rest!
Even though the organisation of the wedding happened mostly by email, communication went smoothly and it all came together on the day: the Town Hall ceremony (ultra-short and in Greek!), the intimate champagne reception (with speeches, lots of tears and delicious Greek sweets), the lavish lunch (meze, meze and more meze...yum!), the live Greek music (so romantic!), transportation (a characterful old VW beetle for us and a much more comfortable coach for our guests) and the swinging evening party (a fairytale location, funky DJ and a whole roast pig).
We can't believe we actually got married in Greece in the end, but we did and it was the best decision ever. It was the most wonderful wedding and we and our 40 guests had the time of our lives.
We can fully recommend Julie as a wedding planner; she is trustworthy, hard-working and will do everything in her power to make your day special, without you having to worry about a single thing.
